Evil Ducky and The Fountain of Doom
( beware! be very beware! He's eviler than you think! )
This work rethinks the nature of contemporary art as referenced by Guy Debort's society of Spectacle,
since our world is one in which art has been replaced by persona, that of the contemorary artist.
"The spectacle is not a collection of images," Debord writes,
"rather, it is a social relationship between people that is mediated by images." [wiki]
Evil Ducky therefore comes to probe the world's tender underbelly,
waddling through the myths and fictions by which we comprehend a cultural reality.
Evil Ducky, the actor, anti-hero and protagonist is expecting trouble.
Emerging as a hybrid between cartoon character, ad buster and political commentator,
