The personal is political, once you start to see it.
If there is an art to write the mind’s construction in the face,
it is surely the art of portraiture. There's a line in Macbeth, Act I, Scene 4, “there is no art to read the mind’s construction in the face”. Shakespeare suggests we cannot tell someone’s character from their face. Michelangelo disproved that... with drawings and paintings showing depth of personality. We feel a person's character, sense their personality by their expression, their body language. We do have blind spots; interpretation and biased.
